FreeConvertor is designed so public tools can be used without an account. Many tools, including Background Remover, process files locally in the browser and do not upload the selected image to FreeConvertor. Background Remover downloads and caches machine-learning model files from Hugging Face so processing can run on the user's device. Advertising, analytics, and other third-party providers may collect technical data according to their own policies when those services are active.
