Trust & transparency
Editorial Policy
FreeConvertor publishes practical explanations that help readers understand file formats, conversions, utility workflows, and their limitations. Our goal is usefulness and accuracy—not word count or search visibility alone.
How we choose topics
We prioritize questions that arise while using our tools: compatibility, quality loss, privacy, output verification, and safe sharing. A guide must answer a real user question and connect to a practical workflow.
Writing and review
Guides are written in plain language by the FreeConvertor Editorial Team. Technical claims are checked against established format behavior and the current tool experience. We identify tradeoffs, avoid promising impossible quality restoration, and clearly distinguish general information from professional advice.
Updates and corrections
Each guide displays an updated date. We revisit content when a tool changes or when compatibility guidance becomes outdated. If you identify an error, email contact@freeconvertor.net with the page URL and supporting detail; we will investigate and correct confirmed issues.
Independence
Advertising does not determine our editorial conclusions or tool recommendations. Guides may link to FreeConvertor utilities when they are directly relevant. We do not publish paid rankings disguised as independent advice.
Use of automated tools
Automated systems may assist with research organization or quality checks, but publication requires human review for clarity, factual consistency, and alignment with the live user experience.
