What a QR code contains
A QR code stores data directly in a grid of dark and light modules. It can contain text, a URL, Wi-Fi details, or contact information. For a normal static code, changing the destination means generating a new code.
Error correction
QR codes include redundant information that can allow scanning even when part of the symbol is damaged. Higher error correction improves resilience but makes the pattern denser, so it is not automatically best for every small printed code.
Design for dependable scanning
Use strong contrast, preserve the clear margin around the code, and avoid stretching or blurring the image. Test the final physical size on several phones under realistic lighting before distributing it.

Safety for users
